Gate of Flesh Guide: Eye Relic Locations in Castlevania

In Castlevania: Belmont's Curse, unlocking the Gate of Flesh requires collecting three specific Eye Relics scattered across the game world. Once obtained, these relics grant access to Mammon's Lair, where players can face off against The Miser boss and secure valuable rewards including the Ferryman's Obol coin and the boss's Arcana.

The three Eye Relics needed to open the Gate of Flesh are the Thrilling Eye, Trembling Eye, and Oozing Eye. Each relic must be struck before it can be picked up from the ground. After gathering all three, players should travel to the Circle of Greed in the Catacombs of Paris, equip the relics, and interact with the gate to reveal Mammon's Lair.

The Thrilling Eye can be found in the Hospital located within the Street of the Tomb Masons in the Paris Streets area. This street sits in the northeastern section of the Paris Streets map. To reach it, fast travel to the Mirror of Life in the Undercity, head left toward the Street of the Tomb Masons, climb to the upper platform, and enter the door. Inside the Hospital, navigate to the southern portion of the map while avoiding moving traps to locate the relic.

The Trembling Eye relic is situated at the Holy Innocents' Cemetery in the Pillaged Tombs section. Players should teleport to the Mirror of Life in the Cloister and follow the passage leading to the cemetery. The journey may require using various Arcana abilities such as the Arcana Whip, Holy Light, Smash, Aerial Rush, or Double Jump to overcome obstacles and reach the relic.

The Oozing Eye is positioned southwest of the Gate of Flesh itself, accessible after unlocking the Hall of Mirrors. Fast travel to the Mirror of Life in the Realm of Old Night and take the left route. Once the Hall of Mirrors is unlocked, any Mirror of Life can be used to teleport between areas. Navigate to the southern part of the Circle of Greed in the Catacombs of Paris, defeat the surrounding enemies to unlock nearby doors, then strike and collect the Oozing Eye.

With all three relics in hand, return to the Circle of Greed in the Catacombs of Paris where the Gate of Flesh stands. Equip the Eye Relics and interact with the gate to enter Mammon's Lair. Inside, players face The Miser boss and should utilize their collected relics, equipment, and Arcana abilities to emerge victorious.

After defeating The Miser, a glowing chest appears within Mammon's Lair containing the Ferryman's Obol. This coin can be taken to any Ferryman's Wharf and given to the Ferryman in exchange for the Freezing Path Arcana, providing players with additional combat options and abilities for future encounters.
