The Lord of Novels, a mobile action RPG featuring characters from Novelpia's web novel catalog, rolled out its Season 4 update on October 19. The expansion introduces Eve, a protagonist from the web novel National-Level Machine Princess of Hunter Gallery, alongside substantial gameplay and interface enhancements.
Developed by Magic Cube and Dizzcon and published by BigJam, the game draws from multiple Novelpia titles including I Quit the Hero's Party, Black-Haired Foreigner in Another World, and I Became the Villain the Hero Is Obsessed With. Players assemble squads of up to 10 characters and engage in action combat that emphasizes parrying and dashing mechanics, layered with roguelike progression systems.
Eve arrives as a Golemancer who summons allies rather than fighting directly. Her combat style centers on overwhelming enemies through superior numbers, deploying three golems from the source material—Daengdaeng-i, Minium-i, and Suri—as ultimate abilities. This approach contrasts with traditional direct-combat characters and offers a distinct tactical option.
The Season 4 update expands combat maps with broader fields of view, enabling encounters against larger enemy groups. A new field map tracking system appears on the campaign stage selection screen, with dynamic background changes reflecting progression through the story.

Players who raise Eve to 2-star rank unlock an exclusive Season 4 emote set for use on Novelpia, featuring the new character. The development team expressed commitment to continuing character additions from Novelpia's roster, aiming to let players adventure with their preferred web novel heroes.
