Ghost of Yotei‘s complete edition arrives this week alongside a fresh roguelike mode called Most Wanted, which will feature crossover armor sets based on characters from other PlayStation franchises. Sucker Punch has unveiled four distinct looks players can unlock, drawing inspiration from The Last of Us, Helldivers 2, Astro Bot, and Journey.
The Clicker armor from The Last of Us was revealed earlier to mark The Last of Us Day. This set transforms protagonist Atsu with a distinctive mask that mimics the appearance of the infected creatures central to Naughty Dog’s series. The other three armor options take a less grotesque approach while maintaining clear visual connections to their source material.
The Helldivers 2 armor features a bold yellow and black color scheme, replacing Atsu’s standard hat and mask with a Helldiver helmet. The Astro Bot-inspired set employs a more understated design philosophy, though its bright blue and white palette immediately signals its connection to the beloved PlayStation mascot. Players unfamiliar with the crossover might not immediately recognize the reference, but the vibrant color choice leaves little doubt about its inspiration.
The Journey armor stands out as the most visually striking of the group and represents a surprising choice given the game’s 2012 release date. Unlike the other sets, preview images showcase both front and back views, revealing a hooded figure draped in flowing red robes that closely resemble The Traveler, Journey’s protagonist. This design demonstrates particular attention to capturing the game’s distinctive aesthetic.
All four armor sets will be locked behind Most Wanted progression, though Sucker Punch has not yet detailed the specific unlock requirements. Once obtained, players can equip these looks across any of Yotei’s game modes. Most Wanted also marks the return of Jin Sakai, the original game’s lead character, as a playable option alongside three other characters, each bringing unique abilities to roguelike runs.

PlayStation has increasingly embraced post-launch roguelike modes for its major releases. The Last of Us Part II received a similar addition through No Return, while God of War Ragnarok’s Valhalla mode proved exceptionally popular with players. Most Wanted represents the publisher’s continued investment in this format, arriving as Ghost of Yotei launches on October 2, 2025.
