Arc Raiders’ Sizing Things Up quest tasks players with documenting and analyzing a massive Emperor robot corpse scattered across Pendola Pass. The mission involves three main objectives that require careful navigation and specific tools to complete.
The first objective requires taking a photograph of the Emperor’s leg near Old Town. Players need to travel east of Old Town to a bridge that runs alongside the giant robot’s southern front leg. The Emperor dominates the western portion of the map, making it a recognizable landmark. To capture the required image, aim the camera at the lower section of the leg. If you don’t have a camera, Celeste provides one at the start, though additional cameras can be crafted at a workbench or purchased from Shani.
The second step involves analyzing an exposed section on the Emperor’s leg close to Railroad Junction. Head directly south of Railroad Junction on the map to locate the base of the Emperor’s leg. Once you reach the spot, climb up to the marked interaction point and analyze the exposed area to progress the quest.
The final objective requires reaching the Emperor’s base and searching the Buried Harvester Payload. The Emperor’s corpse sits on the western side of the map, and players should navigate to its base directly east of the Fallen Emperor marker. This location is positioned near the letter P in Piazza Della Rupe. At the front and center of the Emperor’s corpse, you’ll discover a chest containing the Harvester Payload.
Interact with the chest to retrieve the Arc Conductive Coupler, which is the key item needed for this quest. Once obtained, place the coupler in your safe pocket inventory. The final step involves extracting from the area with the item and returning it to Celeste to complete the mission.
Like other Arc Raiders quests such as Clean Hands, some of the Sizing Things Up locations can be challenging to identify on first attempt. Using the map markers and the descriptions provided should help streamline the search process. Taking time to explore the marked areas methodically will ensure you locate each objective without unnecessary backtracking.
