Yujiro Hanma from Baki Joins Tekken 8 Roster

Bandai Namco unveiled the first gameplay footage of Yujiro Hanma, the protagonist from the Baki anime and manga franchise, during EVO France 2026. The reveal showcased how the character will appear in Tekken 8, marking a major crossover between the two fighting game properties.
Yujiro, referred to as the Strongest Creature on Earth within his series, is recognized for his exceptional combat prowess and intimidating demeanor. His inclusion in Tekken 8 brings together two franchises celebrated for their powerful martial artists and intense fighting mechanics.
The character was originally announced in May 2026 as part of Season 3's roster additions, joining Kunimitsu, Bob, and Roger Jr. as new playable fighters. While the in-game appearance is now public, a comprehensive gameplay demonstration is scheduled for January 17, 2027, during the Tekken World Tour Global Finals in Singapore. Players will be able to use Yujiro in matches beginning in early 2027.
