SEGA Publishing Korea has unveiled a new Brazil-themed environment for the upcoming driving action game Crazy Taxi: World Tour, set to launch in 2027. The map showcases the country's varied landscapes and urban centers, featuring recognizable landmarks such as one of the world's three largest waterfalls, distinctive rock formations, heritage-protected districts, and coastal areas.
The Brazil region will be accessible across multiple gameplay modes, including the game's Story Mode. A promotional video presented the map in a travel guide style, highlighting diverse driving routes through bustling city areas and natural scenery alongside different passenger types and regional activities.
The map incorporates real-world brand partnerships exclusive to Brazil's market. Players will encounter in-game representations of establishments like Fogo de Chão, Habib's, Blue Tree Hotels, and DAISO, functioning as taxi destinations and pickup points throughout the region.
Crazy Taxi: World Tour represents a new entry in SEGA's long-running franchise, building on the series' core mechanics of high-speed taxi driving while introducing fresh gameplay modes and multiplayer functionality. The game centers on protagonist Axel's journey through a "World Tour" story mode featuring locations inspired by real cities worldwide. The title supports online multiplayer accommodating up to six players, enabling both cooperative and competitive play.
The game launches simultaneously across PS5, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, and Nintendo Switch 2. Interested players can add the title to their wishlists on current platform storefronts, though the Nintendo Switch 2 store page will become available at a later date.
