Nexon and GameTree have opened recruitment for a limited-time test of Mabinogi Mobile, their upcoming cross-platform fantasy MMO developed by devCAT. The free test runs from November 25 to 30, 2026, and is available to players in Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, and Malaysia. Interested participants can apply through a questionnaire on the official recruitment page until November 22.
Mabinogi Mobile builds on the legacy of Nexon's long-running Mabinogi franchise, bringing the series' signature blend of adventure and lifestyle gameplay to modern devices. The game has already found strong success in Korea, where it topped the Apple App Store's Top Grossing chart and ranked first on Google Play. It also earned the Presidential Award at the 2025 Korea Game Awards, the ceremony's highest honor.
The test supports three platforms: PC, iOS, and Android, giving players flexibility in how they access the game. Mobile players can switch between portrait and landscape modes, with the interface adapting to each orientation. This design philosophy extends throughout the experience—players can customize their approach to both combat and daily activities based on their preferences and available time.
Character creation offers six distinct classes: Warrior, Archer, Mage, Healer, Bard, and Rogue. The game's class system allows players to switch between roles by equipping different weapons, enabling experimentation with various skill combinations and combat styles without requiring multiple characters. This flexibility encourages players to discover their preferred playstyle at their own pace.

Beyond combat, Mabinogi Mobile emphasizes lifestyle activities that reward players for slowing down and engaging with the world. Players can gather resources, fish, and cook, with the game providing satisfaction through collection and crafting mechanics. The social side is equally important—players can gather around campfires to chat, perform music together, and build friendships within Erinn, the game's fantasy setting. This balance between challenge and leisure means players of different preferences can find their own rhythm.
The developer is also recruiting content creators for an official Creator Club. Selected participants will receive test access, resource support, and exclusive event rewards in exchange for creating and sharing their own Mabinogi Mobile content. Interested creators can apply through the Creator Club recruitment page.
Players who want to participate in the test should complete the recruitment questionnaire before the November 22 deadline. Additional information about the test and Creator Club is available through the official website, Facebook page, and Discord community.
