Tree of Savior has introduced a new magic-focused class called the Officiant, alongside a complete overhaul of its Archaeology system. The MMORPG, developed by IMC Games and available on Steam, is supporting the update with a limited-time growth event.
The Officiant operates as an area-of-effect damage dealer that forgoes traditional weapons in favor of censers and smoke-based attacks. Players using this class control the battlefield by generating ritual spaces filled with smoke, allowing them to reposition and subdue multiple enemies at once. Combat revolves around spreading smoke across wide areas to manipulate enemy placement and manage encounters.
The redesigned Archaeology system creates a progression loop connecting exploration, combat, and character advancement. Players discover Relics during exploration and can unlock their potential using three distinct Orb types: Alchemy, Divine, and Chaos. Once restored, these Relics feed back into future exploration and combat scenarios, establishing a long-term collection and power-growth mechanic.
Accompanying the update is the Popo Boost Event, which provides growth-focused rewards including doubled enhancement rates and special class unlock vouchers. Characters who progress through the event can transfer all weapons, armor, and accessories to their current season equipment, streamlining gear inheritance across progression milestones.
