South Korea's national Honor of Kings team was knocked out of medal contention at the 2026 Aichi-Nagoya Asian Games after suffering a quarterfinal defeat to the Philippines.
The squad, managed by Head Coach Jang Hyeong-jun and featuring players Jeong Yun-ho, Lee Seob-gyu, Han Ji-hoon, Cho Seong-bin, Lee Hoon-min, and Han Seong-geon, began their campaign with a strong showing. On September 27, the team advanced past the preliminary round by defeating Myanmar 2-0 at Aichi Sky Expo.
However, South Korea's tournament run ended when they faced the Philippines in their first knockout-stage match. The team was unable to secure a win against their opponent, preventing them from advancing to the semifinals and competing for a podium finish at the Aichi-Nagoya Games.
