The Flyff Universe World Championship returned for its fourth year on October 24, bringing together approximately 2,000 players and fans at the SM Mall of Asia Music Hall in Manila, Philippines. The event marked a significant increase in attendance compared to previous tournaments, transforming the venue into a celebration of the online gaming community.

The championship represented the culmination of a six-month competitive season that began in April on a dedicated FWC server. Players who started their characters from the same point worked toward this moment to showcase their skills and meet teammates they had only known through online interaction. The tournament featured a golden trophy awaiting its new champion.
Beyond the competitive matches, organizers created an expansive festival atmosphere. The venue featured interactive mini-games, photo opportunities, and a recreation of the game's iconic town square. Merchandise displays showcased in-game characters reimagined as keychains, stickers, and acrylic collectibles. The entertainment lineup included cosplayers dressed as game characters and a performance by KAIA, a prominent Philippine girl group.
The expanded scale reflected growing interest in the franchise. Organizers noted the attendance substantially exceeded previous years, demonstrating the franchise's expanding global appeal. The event served as both a competitive esports tournament and a gathering space for the international Flyff Universe community to connect in person.
