Karmine Corp advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2026 League of Legends World Championship after a dominant 2-0 victory over MKOI on the final day of the Swiss Stage competition held in Allen, Texas.
The opening game proved tightly contested as both European squads played cautiously with a quarterfinal spot at stake. KC established an early advantage by securing two dragon stacks before the first significant skirmish erupted nearly 15 minutes in. Canna's Renekton eliminated Supa's Zeri in the mid lane to draw first blood, but MKOI responded by winning fights around the Rift Herald and top lane to seize control of the gold lead. The momentum shifted again when KC claimed their third dragon stack following a successful teamfight.

By the 23-minute mark, KC had accumulated enough pressure to secure the Dragon Soul after catching MKOI's bottom lane duo out of position. A pivotal Baron engagement followed, where KC capitalized on a moment when Zeri's ultimate ability was unavailable to win the fight and claim the buff. Although MKOI demonstrated resilience by securing a crucial Elder Dragon teamfight victory, KC ultimately proved more consistent, winning the subsequent Elder Dragon contest to obtain both Elder and Baron buffs before closing out the game.
KC's momentum carried into the second game, where they established an early lead through a successful 2v2 skirmish in the top lane. This early advantage snowballed across the map, allowing KC to build a commanding gold lead exceeding 4,000 by the 16-minute mark. The team maintained control of dragon spawns and continued expanding their advantage, eventually securing three dragon stacks and Baron. With overwhelming power and resources, KC closed out the series to lock in their quarterfinal qualification.
