Legend of YMIR Marks First Anniversary With Assassin Class

The Norse mythology-themed MMORPG Legend of YMIR is launching its first anniversary celebration on October 20, introducing a new Assassin class alongside a dedicated leveling server designed to help newcomers and returning players catch up quickly.

Wemade, the developer behind the Unreal Engine 5-powered title, is marking the milestone with multiple content additions and rewards. Pre-registration for the anniversary update opens October 6, with all players receiving a Legendary Disir upon the update's release. Those who pre-register early will unlock additional exclusive bonuses.

The Assassin class represents a fresh combat approach distinct from existing character classes in the game. A key feature allows current players to switch to the Assassin using their already-developed characters through the class change system, eliminating the need to start over from scratch.

Accompanying the new class is Boot Camp 2, a dedicated fast-track server tailored for new and returning players. The server provides a 600% experience boost for characters up to level 65, hunting bonuses, and exclusive collections available only on the Boot Camp 2 server. These features are designed to accelerate progression through early-game content and help players reach the level of established accounts more rapidly.

Wemade has committed to supporting Boot Camp 2 players beyond the initial anniversary window. When the Mythic Valkyrie and Disir arrive on December 1, players on the fast-track server can participate in a special 14-day check-in event. Logging in on day 7 rewards a Legendary Valkyrie, while day 14 provides a Legendary Disir. This extended support structure ensures players who join later still have pathways to obtain powerful gear and level efficiently.

Since its global launch, Legend of YMIR has maintained player engagement through regular content updates and events. The anniversary celebration serves as both a thank-you to the existing community and an invitation for lapsed and new players to experience the game's large-scale battles and mythologically-inspired world.

The Assassin class, Boot Camp 2 server, and anniversary rewards all launch with the October 20 update. Players interested in participating can register through the official Legend of YMIR website and community channels including Discord, YouTube, and Facebook.
