The draw for Round 3 of the Swiss Stage at the 2026 League of Legends World Championship took place early on the 26th KST, with the tournament set to unfold at the Credit Union of Texas Event Center in Allen, Texas.
Gen.G Esports and Dplus KIA, both sitting at 2-0 after defeating each other in LCK civil wars during earlier rounds, avoided a rematch. Instead, Gen.G will face LCS representative LYON, while Dplus KIA takes on LEC's Movistar KOI. Winners of these matches will secure three victories and advance directly to the Quarterfinals.
Eight teams holding 1-1 records from Rounds 1 and 2 compete in the final Best-of-1 matchups. Hanwha Life Esports and T1, both from the LCK, are among this group. Hanwha Life Esports drew LPL's IG, while T1 faces LCP's CFO. Two additional matches pit LPL and LEC teams directly against one another: TES versus G2 and BLG against Karmine Corp.
The 0-2 pool features elimination matches played as Best-of-3 series. LPL's AL meets LCS's Team Liquid, and CBLOL's LOS opposes LCP's TSW. Losing teams in these matches are eliminated from the tournament.
